About Me
Have you ever looked at a painting and felt a deep connection?
I paint with the intention of evoking that feeling in my viewers. Sometimes it's a particular color or brushstroke that strikes a chord. For me, it's all about creating a connection with the viewer through my art.
Hi ! Im Nisha Ghela, in Erie, Colorado.
I'm a landscape artist, and one of my favourite subjects to paint is the Aspen trees. There's something about thier tall, powerful trunks and delicate leaves that really speaks to me. When I paint them, I feel like I'm connecting with something much bigger than myself.
My art collectors feel that connection too.
They feel a sense of joy, bringing back fond memories of childhood ski trips to the mountains with grandparents, some reminders of amazing family vacations or time spent with thier loved ones.
Some have got engaged or married in Aspen groves and they look at my art as a reminder of those special moments.
Some buy the paintings to gift that emotional moment to thier loved one.
It’s incredible how art can mean so much to different people.
Through my art I’ve made many friends and formed powerful bonds with people from all walks of life.
It’s truly a privilege to share these emotions with them.
This is what keeps me going, the knowledge that I am creating something that has the ability to touch people in a deep and meaningful way.
what do I do in my free time?
Free time? Ha! As if. I'm a mom of a toddler, so I barely have time to breathe, let alone relax. Never a dull moment with her around ! :)
Well I do give credit to my daughter for bringing me into the art world. After she was born, I wanted to be more around her - I started painting with acrylics.
I used to work for an IT firm before - so there's a techy inside me.
My husband (the sweetest) and the rest of the family in India, are my biggest supporters my art and help me bring confidence in myself.
by the way..

Im a big fan of Ramen. There are few things in life that bring me as much joy as a bowl of steaming hot ramen.
It doesn't matter what the occasion is though; if there's any kind of noodle in sight then you'll find me with my face stuck buried deep into their delicious depths..haha
In fact, I even have a dedicated ramen shelf in my pantry where I keep all my favorite flavors.
