Winter Landscape Painting - Aspen Trees

A winter-meets-fall landscape, complete with snow-covered ground and distant, snow-topped mountains. Upon closer inspection, there is much more to see. The trees in the foreground are portrayed in shades of yellow and orange, giving the impression of late fall. I also included a few trees in the foreground to create a sense of depth and inviting the viewer into the aspen grove. This impressionistic approach to painting creates a feeling of movement and energy, despite the scene being based on a still moment in time. 

Almost like this is a snapshot of a fleeting moment.

I hope that my painting will give you a glimpse into the beauty of Fall-Winter.
